QLD:Further arrests at Qld anti-CSG blockade

CAIRNS, Jan 13 AAP - A protester has scaled a drill rig at an anti-coal seam gas blockade
in southeast Queensland where 12 people have been arrested.

Local landowners set up the protest site on a farm at Kerry, near Beaudesert, on Thursday,
and prevented Arrow Energy workers from conducting exploratory CSG drilling on Thursday
and Friday.

Three people were arrested on Friday and charged with contravening a police direction,
in addition to nine protesters arrested on the same charged on Thursday.
